Our History
Marcol Fabrications was established in 1990 by its two directors, Colin Vye and Mark Godfrey who have over 50 years combined experience of plastic fabrication/engineering. Marcol was incorporated in 1998 and since then, Colin and Mark have built a thriving business by putting focus on their customers. The company moved to its current premises in Nailsea in 1997, approximately 8 miles from Bristol, close to several major transport links including Bristol airport.
Marcol has always put the emphasis on its excellent customer service, competitive prices and very high quality work.
In addition to in-house fabrication, Marcol also have an experienced and skilled site team with experience working in the UK, Europe and Asia. The type of work we do varies from small welding jobs to complete bespoke installations of process plants, pipe-work, tanks, scrubbing systems etc. which are built and then installed by us on site. Other services we offer include design work, a project manager to oversee projects, drawing AutoCAD / 3D modelling, and site supervision for our operatives. Everything you need to make sure your requirements are met. The highest standards are maintained and current legislation is adhered to at all times.
Our clients range from SME’s to larger conglomerates, some of whom have worked with us for decades. After 27 years, our accumulated experience allows us to provide solutions to even the most complex problems. We have experience working with a wide range of industries including chemical, utilities, nuclear, aerospace, pharmaceutical, steel, semiconductor and construction.
We take Health and Safety very seriously and ensure that our installers are fully trained in all tasks on any equipment they are likely to use. Our installers carry CSCS cards and also hold CCNSG client/contractor national safety passports, many of them at supervisor level. Supervisors are also fully first aid qualified.

With over 37 years worth of experience working at the "coalface" of the industry, Colin has proven himself time and again. Having worked with numerous different industries he brings a wealth of knowledge to the company, and now, as one of the directors at Marcol.
Mark has over 30 years of experience in plastic fabrication and is still very hands-on; you might even see him managing site installations.
17 years’ experience in plastic fabrication. From a fabricator on the workshop floor here at Marcol, Rich progressed to workshop supervisor and then project manager. Interoperating customers’ requirements and assisting with design using 3D modelling software. Successfully managing and delivering projects with some of the UK biggest companies.
